Description of courses:
I teach MBSR/MBCT courses in Surrey near Guildford, Dorking and Godalming. These are 8 week courses with 2 hour sessions and a retreat day included.
I teach Mindfulness in Schools Project courses for teachers or pupils, aged 7-11year olds (Paws b) and 11-18 year olds (.b)
I run courses for businesses and organisations as well as one-to-one sessions and courses for privately organised groups.
I teach mindfulness to doctors and healthcare professionals.
My next 8 week MBSR/MBCT courses are on Mondays, 7-9.00pm starting 23 September 2019 at The Space, Northcote Farm, Shamley Green, near Guildford, Godalming, Cranleigh and Dorking, Surrey GU5 0RB Cost £240 (generous concessions for those on low income-please ask)

What qualifications or training do you hold?
I have completed mindfulness training with Bangor university (TTR1 and 2) and training with Mindfulness in Schools Project. I have attended Mindful Inquiry and Mindful Movement courses with CMRP, and Masterclasses at Oxford university to teach mindfulness in non-clinical settings, in business and to doctors, day workshop with Jon Kabat-Zinn, Mindfulness in Medicine conferences.
If you teach MBCT, what professional mental health training do you hold?
I am a doctor, having worked in the past as a GP. I have following qualifications MBchB, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP
How do you continually ensure your knowledge and skills are up-to-date?
I practice mindfulness personally, attend regular courses and training events, mindfulness conferences and have regular supervision. I study the latest research on mindfulness and meet with other mindfulness teachers on a regular basis.
Do you adhere to appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and frameworks in your work as a mindfulness-based teacher?
I adhere to the guidelines for good practice. I am a member of the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations
