What the course involves:
You will be taught in a group of up to 10 people. The course consists of eight evening sessions of two hours, and one day retreat: a six-hour session of mostly silent practice. The teaching is largely experiential: “learning by doing” - and consists of guided meditation practices, reflection on experiences, and small and large group work.
There will also be daily home practice taking 20-40 minutes. You will have handouts and guided meditation audio files to support this.
Amy qualified as an MBSR teacher in 2017 via the Bangor University Teacher Training Pathway, and follows the Good Practice Guidelines laid out by the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations.
