Description of courses:
I run MBSR 8 week courses within the NHS for healthcare professionals and I have adapted the curriculum to deliver to adults with learning disabilities and autism, with positive outcomes.
I also run MBSR courses for the general public, the local Learning in Libraries service and other local organisations.
I am currently offering a one day Introduction to Mindfulness course on Saturday 23rd March, in Winchester. Please contact me for more information.

What qualifications or training do you hold?
I have previous professional qualifications of Psychology( BA (Hons), Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) and Gestalt Counselling (DIP HE), providing me with a sound health based foundation. I completed my teacher training with Bangor University in 2013 and have since engaged in a rigorous supervised pathway, whilst delivering MBSR courses within the NHS and to the general public. I have had regular and frequent supervision from an experienced mindfulness-based teacher in order to explore and reflect on my professional, personal and ethical practice.
If you teach MBCT, what professional mental health training do you hold?
I am not teaching MBCT.
How do you continually ensure your knowledge and skills are up-to-date?
I receive regular supervision with an experienced teacher, and read widely around mindfulness-based approaches including academic journals e.g. Mindfulness, and books and publications. I also subscribe to Mindful journal, and receive the Bangor University CMRP and Oxford Mindfulness Centre newsletters.
Do you adhere to appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and frameworks in your work as a mindfulness-based teacher?
I adhere to the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training Organisations Good Practice Guidelines. I also make sound use of supervision to reflect on ethical and professional issues.
