Description of courses:
I am a business psychologist working internationally teaching workplace mindfulness and resilience programmes. I have worked with Spotify, Google, UK Sport, Deloitte, Ernst and Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers, London School of Economics, RIBA as well as central and local government.
My work is based upon evidence based research from neuroscience and the classic teachings of mindfulness having lived, worked and studied meditation in Tibet, China, Thailand and India over the last 20 years. I regularly present my research at conferences and write articles about the practical applications of mindfulness at work. My work has been featured in The Guardian, Thrive Global, Success Magazine, Dare Magazine, Stylist and Business Zone.

What qualifications or training do you hold?
I am currently conducting doctoral research into the impact of mindfulness and compassion upon leadership efficacy. I hold an MSc Mindfulness Studies, Aberdeen University and have studied with Google Search Inside Yourself Institute Leadership Training Mindfulness Teacher Training Level 2, Bangor University, Wales Mindfulness Teacher Training Level 1 - 2012, Stress Minus, London My practice spans over 20 years and I have lived, worked and studied meditation in Tibet, China, Thailand and India over that period.
If you teach MBCT, what professional mental health training do you hold?
I specialise in workplace mindfulness and resilience and am not teaching to clinical populations
How do you continually ensure your knowledge and skills are up-to-date?
I am currently studying for a PhD at Aberdeen University. I am researching Mindfulness, leadership and compassion. I subscribe to a wide range of meditation journals, as well as the BPS journal. I regularly attend refresher and one day conference courses.
Do you adhere to appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and frameworks in your work as a mindfulness-based teacher?
I adhere to the UK Good Practice Guidelines I also adhere to professional ethics as a business psychologist and member of the Association of Business Psychologists. I am a member of the British Neuroscience Association, British Psychological Society, CIPD CPD and the Mindfulness Association.
