I teach MBSR & Finding Peace in a Frantic World to the general public. I specialise in Mindfulness in the Workplace training. I also offer personalised one-to-one sessions either in person or via Zoom.
How do you continually ensure your knowledge and skills are up-to-date?
I continually grow and stay updated in mindfulness by: 1) Continuously attending CPD training and masterclasses. 2) Attending regular talks by industry experts and mindfulness masters such as Professor Mark Williams, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Matthieu Ricard (\\\"The World\\\'s happiest Man\\\"), Daniel Goleman and the Dalai Lama. 3) Reading books, articles, research and blogs. 4) Networking and benchmarking with other teachers. 5) Participating in mindfulness retreats and long stays in India practising yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
Do you adhere to appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and frameworks in your work as a mindfulness-based teacher?
Definitely Yes! My company Wellbeing & Wisdom Works has received the Communities of Health award by the NHS in 2016. I also work closely with local GP and mental health practitioners to ensure that I can give the best possible care to my clients.
