The next MBSR course starts on Fri 27th January 2017 from 7pm to 9pm at The Spike Community Centre, Warren Road, Guildford, GU1 3JH. Cost is £225 or £175 concessionary rate. Next mindfulness day retreat is on Sunday 5th March. See website for more details.

What qualifications or training do you hold?
MBSR Teacher Training Level 1 (2013) and Teacher Training Level 2 (2016) with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) Bangor University. I have also trained in teaching Mindfulness One to One (in 2010 again with CMRP) and in Mindful Movement (2014) and Mindful Inquiry (2015) all with Bangor. .B Foundations Training with MiSP in December 2015

How do you continually ensure your knowledge and skills are up-to-date?
By attending regular trainings on specific aspects of mindfulness practice and teaching skills. In January 2016 I completed Teacher Training Level 2 with CMRP Bangor University. My contact with other mindfulness teachers is important in this and in addition I read extensively new publications on mindfulness and research papers, also engaging in forums and reading blogs as well as writing my own. I am a regular listener to Dharma Seed talks and often follow retreat programmes with their teachers from home.
Do you adhere to appropriate professional and ethical boundaries and frameworks in your work as a mindfulness-based teacher?
Yes, I abide by the UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers Good Practice Guidelines. Working with integrity, confidentiality and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of course participants is paramount.
